The direct translation of Noche Buena is a good night. Noche Buena has two meanings. It’s the Spanish name for a poinsettia plant and it also means Christmas Eve.

My parents used to drink noche buena throughout the holiday season. In Mexico it starts in december, for the posadas, those start on december 9th.
And it goes great with mexican food. Try it on your next enmoladas.
